Machane Poreach (Camp Blossom) is Habonim Dror Perth's Senior Winter camp for kids in years 9-11!
Habo camps are a safe, open and inclusive
environment where chanichim (participants) have the
opportunity to learn about Judaism, Zionism, world issues and
more while meeting Jews from all over the community!
 
Filled with educational content, fun & engaging activities, Machane Poreach will
be an unforgettable experience that you won’t want to miss!
 
Fares to and from camp included!
Vegetarian, nut free and kosher meals and snacks will be provided
every day!

When

WHEN


Years 9-11: 8th to 10th of July 


Drop off is on Friday the 8th of July at 12pm. 
 
Pick up at the end of camp is on Sunday the 10th of July at 7.00pm.   

Pick up and drop off is at Chabad Shule, 11 Garson Court, Noranda, 6062.

indemnity form in order to attend camp.
 Download the indemnity form below, print it, and sign.

Packing List

PACKING LIST

Definitely do bring:

  • Pants (jeans, leggings, tracksuits)

  • T-shirts (no singlets)

  • Jumpers and warm clothes

  • Thermals

  • Rain jacket

  • Closed shoes

  • Hat

  • Water bottle

  • Pyjamas

  • Socks

  • Toothbrush, toothpaste and other toiletries

  • Towel

  • Sleeping bag

  • Pillow case

  • Any medication that is needed

  • Clothes to get dirty in

Definitely do not bring:​​

  • Expensive items

  • Phones

  • Any food with nuts

  • Meat (including fish and gelatin)

 

Please note: In order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all chanichim on camp, Habonim Dror will confiscate the following items if found. If a chanich is found in possession of one of these items, we will contact parents to organise travel arrangements for them to be sent home.

No reimbursement will be provided.

  • Alcohol

  • Drugs

  • Cigarettes

  • Other Illicit substances

  • Explosives

  • Any kind of weapon, including pocket knives

Optional to bring:

  • Vegetarian, nut free snacks (may contain traces of nuts is ok)

  • A pillow if you want to use your own

On every camp we have leaders who have obtained their First Aid Training, Mental Health First Aid Training. All madrichim on camp have completed the Safeguarding Children course and hold a Working with Children's Check. 

We have a medic on camp to administer medication and care for any chanichim who are experiencing illness or injury.
