Short answer, absolutely. Your child's safety is our number one priority! As such, there will be a First Aid Certified medic and trained Mental Health medic on camp at all times. We also have a strict zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and any form of harmful misconduct. Camp is run by incredible and experienced Habonim Dror madrichimot (leaders) who have put months of effort into creating peulot (programs) and activities for this camp throughout the year. Madrichimot have undergone leadership training in many stages of their movement life and all have Working With Children Checks. On top of this, there is also Tzevet Machane (Camp Committee) who are responsible for overseeing the general running and logistics of camp.

Madrichim run a couple fun and engaging informal programs a day. There are also other structures including ruach (dancing), a hike, creative activities, sport and more. There is also lots of time to hang out with friends and meet new people.

Yes, camp is vegetarian and delicious! As part of Habo's dedication to sustainable and eco-friendly practices, we ensure that all the food provided aligns with our values, promoting healthy and environmentally conscious options.

Camp is located just over an hour's drive from Melbourne. For the convenience and safety of all participants, we arrange for organized coaches to pick up your children from Habo House on the morning of camp departure. Due to security reasons, we do not publicly disclose the exact location of the camp. Rest assured, all logistical details, including the pick-up and drop-off schedule, will be communicated to you in advance through our official channels. Our priority is to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for every camper.
