FAQs
Safety

Safety

Child safety

Habonim Dror acknowledges the tension currently faced by the jewish community surrounding the current situation in Israel. The safety of your children, our chanichim, is of the upmost importance to us. We are in constant contact with CSG and strictly adhere to AZYC policies and guidelines.

Our madrichim are experienced in informal education and care a lot about your children. We spend a lot of time putting structures and practices in place to ensure the safety of your children on camp, and we are constantly assessing and improving the way we run camp so it is fun and safe. Habo camps have been running for decades which provides valuable experience on how to run safe and successful camps.

All our madrichim have Working with Children Checks and comply with the Australian Youth Zionist Council's child safety policies. For more information, view these policies below:
AZYC Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy
AZYC Guidelines for Parents
AZYC Rights of the Child

COVID 19 Policy

Our COVID-19 Policy is based off most recent government and AZYC guidelines. We will be sharing a current policy shortly. Please contact Tsevet Machane with any urgent concerns.
