Boneh had an asepha and we disussed all our group issues and allot of stuff came out. It was healthy for us to do this. Can someone fill me in (this is not an attack) but so you have this option.

I remember laitt used to get really upset with the lack of movement time too.

its true. How can one really understand israel without pieces of paper stuck on a wall?
How can I complete myself as a socialist without bagging balderdash? If not now, when?

We only had movement time once a week on machon, and it was always the highlight. A time when we could really explore our true identity as a habo group. Amazing. Shnat should be all movement time, sessions with dina pinner and sessions with jez.

Gooooo Ofek!

Our rekaz came and spoke to us today during yom kvutzah about what we do and dont like about our time here on kbbutz. It started allot of debates between people and confrontation came alive once again. I think these sessions we have on boneh when we just speak about what problems we have with our group at the moment are great. Even though there will be some loud voices and semi harsh words said it really does help in the long run becuase most of us realise that everyone has the right to voice ther opinion. People also if they are mature enough will get over the confrontation and not be like a 4 year old and not talk to people for the rest of the program. Chofesh is coming up and most people are sad because the program is coming to an end.

Hey guys...

So now i know what you all do in the thirty minute break between mine and vered's class on a Wednesday - you update the forum website. Good work!
I just wanted to give you a few of my thoughts on what i think of the new boneh program. I spoke to the Perth shnatties before they arrived last year and informed them of the new program, which i feel is improving with every machzor that arrives (which to this point is only two). One of the things i get asked every now and again is 'would you work with the machon if the opportunity arose?' In all honesty to that, the answer is no. I was a Machonik when i was on shnat, but, at the risk of sounding slightly elitist, i don't really give a rat's ass about the progression of shnatties from the other movements. My priority is the preparation, challenge, and group educational process of Habonim Dror shnatties, and although i only spend a limited amount of time with the Boneh participants, the changes and work that they put into their collective experience has really brought them together and given them an open and honest forum to express themselves, with the physical security of their living arrangement.
I'm proud to be part of the boneh experience, and i wish that a similar program had been made available to me when i was on shnat many many years ago!
Hopefully i will get a chance to get to know the machoniks (besides the perthies) over the coming months, and possibly even get an opportunity to educate them in their kaveret experience.
And to all you bonehniks - if the only things that i have been able to teach you thus far is not to play Mr President and about the not-so-famous spy wolfgang lotz - then we're getting somewhere. Expect that long awaited booklet on the wars of Israel after Pesach, and prepare yourselves for some more fascinating stories in the history of Israel.

Chag Sameach and enjoy chofesh!

Leon..

Chag sameach to you, too Leon. (And everyone on the forums, too!)

By the way -- how's the collar bone?

Cheers Liam,

The collarbone is ok. It has healed, i think that the problem is that it hasn't actually healed correctly. Every now and then i feel a pang in the bone if i put a whole bunch of pressure on it, or if someone tries doing that massage thing where all they do is dig their fingers into your shoulder! But generally...it's not too bad.

So let this be a warning to you all out there...Good Mr Presidents can go bad!! Heed the warning!

Did i give the impression that i don't care what you guys think? I do care...and it doesn't surprise me that there are other educators in Habo who would not choose to work with the machon.
And i'm glad you enjoyed the 6 day war class...we have a pearler coming up on sunday...and the booklets are fab!

oh no papa thats not what i ment. what i ment was that it doesnt matter to you that there are other educators that refuse to be on machon. Its not like you need them to back up you choice is what im saying. i was scared you would have taken my statement in a different way to what i ment so i added in the "not that you care."
